What is a Reiki Master

A Reiki master is a practitioner who has worked through the different Degrees of Reiki to the level where they can 'attune' others into the 'universal life energy' allowing others to tap into this energy and help to heal others. They should have a good working knowledge of Reiki, practicing it regularly on both others and themselves to ensure their practice is kept at its optimum.

Becoming a Reiki Master is a powerful self development tool as Reiki Masters have a good understanding of how the Reiki energy works as the energy becomes much more powerful as does the intent for which Reiki will be used.

Reiki Masters are subject to responsibility towards others as well as themselves, and it is important that they are committed to their own healing path and are prepared to work on themselves with honesty, integrity, truth and courage.

Reiki Masters have all been trained by other Reiki Masters, and you should be able to track their 'Lineage' back to the founder of Reiki, or another break off lineage.
